I am Veena Sahu, hailing from the vibrant town of Rourkela, Odisha. Born on 25th December 2004, my academic journey began at DAV Public School, Kansbahal, where I first cultivated a deep fascination with the world of technology. Currently, I am sophomore student at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, pursuing my undergraduate degree. As a student, I am on an adventurous quest to explore the ever-evolving technical landscape. My passion lies in delving into the intricacies of this dynamic field, constantly seeking to expand my horizons and uncover new possibilities. I am driven by a strong desire to solve real-world problems through creativity and innovation, striving to make a meaningful impact in the realm of technology.
Currrently, a dedicated student at NIT Rourkela, where I am pursuing a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. My interest in tech has led me to explore the broader landscape of technology.I am an active member of the GDSC NITR chapter, where I collaborate with like-minded peers to explore and contribute to innovative technical projects and events. In addition to my studies, I am also a member of the institute's basketball team, fostering teamwork and resilience both on and off the court. These engagements enrich my university experience and fuel my enthusiasm for learning and collaboration
My technical journey has been marked by a strong foundation in problem-solving, with over 400+ DSA questions solved on various competitive programming platforms. I have developed proficiency in web development technologies along with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals. In the AI/ML domain, I am actively learning Python and exploring machine learning concepts through online courses and hands-on projects.
I have hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and various CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap. I am proficient in version control using Git and GitHub, and comfortable working with RESTful APIs. I am currently focused on expanding my knowledge and practical skills through real-world projects, with the goal of developing robust, user-friendly web applications. My journey in web development is just beginning, and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
I am passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. I have a keen eye for design and strive to create intuitive and engaging designs that captivate and delight users. I am proficient in using design tools like Figma and Canva to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. I am constantly learning and exploring new design trends and techniques to stay updated with the latest industry standards.
I am also diving into the exciting field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a focus on Python programming and fundamental ML concepts. I am actively learning through online courses and projects to deepen my understanding of algorithms, data preprocessing, and model building. I am looking forward to apply my knowledge to real-world problems and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions.
